Series STD ball bearing, Tread with gradient 3°
Technical Specifications
- Flanged wheels: solid steel.
- Temperature range: -30°C to +120°C
Characteristics
These flanged wheels are made of solid steel. The final dimensions are machined as well as the 3° tread ascent to the axle. The wheels are very highly sideways- and peak load resistant. The double shielded ball bearings are lubricated with durable grease. Temperature range from -30°C to +120°C. In case of heat resistant use (with high-temp ball bearings) from -30°C to +300°C.
Rule of thumb at use on maximum temperature: Load capacity= ½ of indicated load capacity.
The solid steel flanged wheels have a very high load capacity and yet an extremely low rolling resistance. They are extremely wear- and shock resistant and insensitive to sharp materials. A higher noise level is to be considered. At regular exposure to high temperatures, frequently bearing-lubrication with high-temperature grease is recommended.
Applications
Heavier loads on rails or other profiles, possibly filthy with sharp materials like glass or metal curls, where low requirements are made to noise and rolling comfort, but low rolling resistance is required.
