Q = (Pu + Pa) : n
n = the smallest number of wheels touching the floor at any time
Pu = the load to be transported
Pa = the own weight of the means of transport/machine
Q = the required load capacity of the wheel to be selected

 

Principles

DM Wheel Systems determines load capacities by calculating in certain assumptions, namely an ambient temperature of +15° C to +28° C and a hard, flat, smooth horizontal surface.

Further, the height of irregularities may not be more than 5% of the wheel diameter (up to 90° shore A) and no more than 2.5% of the wheel diameter (harder than 90° shore A).
