Swivel head has two steel hardened tapered roller bearings.

A heavy steel-welded series with heavy lasered and machined steel parts. The swivel head has two steel hardened tapered roller bearings, which are assembled in a very heavy steel housing with machined seats, round-welded on a thick top plate. The machined solid steel swivel-disc which forms a whole with the central kingpin, is the base for the swivel-legs to weld on, with or without using an in-between bridge. After adjusting the nut, it is welded to avoid loosening and the hole in the top plate is plugged with a thermoplastic cap. By means of an O-ring the housing is protected against dust and dirt. To protect against environmental influences these brackets are hammer-blow grey lacquer coated. The swivel head is smooth running and has no play. The tapered roller bearings are lubricated with durable grease. On request a grease-nipple can be fitted. The legs of the swivel- and fixed brackets are all round welded. Temperature range from -30° to +80°C.
These very robust heavy duty brackets are under normal conditions maintenance-free and have a very long service life. Brake version on request.
For purposes at intensive normal use in the heavier segment, where regular peak-loads appear and long-life, failure-free operating is demanded, a much applied bracket-series.
