A steel-welded series, containing three legs for assembly with twin wheels, without central kingpin with heavier lasered, pressed and machined steel parts. The swivel head has two machined ball races; type 180B even has three machined ball races, with steel hardened balls. The round-welded steel pressed flange-ring is partly let in into the top plate. The swivel-legs are welded on an in-between bridge, which is welded on the swivel-disc. To protect against environmental influences these brackets are hammer-blow grey lacquer coated. The swivel head is smooth running and has minimum play. The ball bearings are lubricated with durable grease. The ability of greasing is standard plugged with a thermoplastic cap. On request a grease-nipple can be fitted here. The legs of the swivel- and fixed brackets are all round welded. Temperature range from -30° to +80°C.
These robust heavy duty twin-brackets are under normal conditions maintenance-free and have a very long service life. Moreover the swivel resistance is reduced to the minimum because of the differential effect when using twin wheels. For brake version or different dimensions please ask one of our consultants.
For purposes at normal use in the heavier segment, where peak-loads appear and a pliant swivel movement is preferred, these brackets are pre-eminently suitable.
